Patient Feedback Results
We would like to thank all those patients who participated in our recent Patient Feedback Survey.
As part of our Accreditation process we are required to ask you, our patients, what you think we are doing right and what things you think we could improve.
It was overwhelming to see that on average 96% of all patient ratings about our practice were good, very good, or excellent! We agree with you that the doctors and staff here at Inkerman Medical Group are great, however sometimes not everything goes smoothly.
Waiting times …
We know it can be frustrating when you are kept waiting to see your doctor, however unfortunately at times doctors do run behind due to unforeseen circumstances such as emergencies or patients needing more time for their consultation than anticipated.
Our doctors endeavour to keep your waiting times to a minimum but we do ask for your patience at times when you may be kept waiting. When possible, we try to let you know via SMS, if the doctor is running late. You are also welcome to call prior to your appointment if the doctor is running on time.
We also ask patients, who think they may need a longer consultation, to discuss this with our reception staff when they book an appointment. Our staff are trained to determine what length of consultation you may need.
Talking to your doctor by phone …
Your doctor is available for phone consultations if you have any questions or require medical advice. In some cases, the nurse or receptionist may be able to assist you.
You are welcome to book a consultation via our app, AMS Connect, website www.inkermanmedical.com.au or by calling our reception team on 9527 4355.
If your call is urgent, you can ask to speak to speak to one of our nurses.
Have your say …
We take your suggestions and concerns seriously so please feel free to talk to your doctor or one of our staff members about any problems you may have had with our service – if we don’t hear about it, we can’t fix it!
