Susan Weinreich

Psychotherapist/ Social Work Services

Susan is qualified in both psychotherapy and Social Work. As a Psychotherapist, she is educated and informed by psychoanalysis and operates a Psychotherapy and Social Work Clinic in East St Kilda and Prahran.

Her main areas of expertise are in areas of Mental Health and Disability. She has particular interest to work with women who struggle to “find themselves” when relationships break down, kids leave home, retirement, illness, substance abuse, existential issues, parental issues, personal conflicts etc.

Susan’s work revolves around the idea that we can transform our lives and find ways to accept who we are and understand those obstacles which make us negative and scared to take risks. She believes we have unique “ghosts” from our pasts and it may be useful or even life saving to speak to a stranger, like a qualified and experienced Psychotherapist to understand why we make the same

She is registered with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and can provide direct care or refer people to appropriate services. Bulk Billing through Medicare is available with a GP Mental Health Care Plan.
