Dr. Sharon Gabizon completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2004 at Monash University in Victoria and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 2010 at Griffith University in Queensland. He attained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020.
As well as his work in General Practice, he has wide experience in Dermatology and Skin Cancer Medicine. He pursued these interests and moved to Brisbane in 2015, working with Dermatologists and Skin Cancer Specialists at multiple clinics in South East Queensland performing surgical procedures and excisions.
He was responsible for reviewing and managing outpatients, under Prof. Peter Soyer (a leader in the field of Melanoma and Skin Cancer Medicine), at the newly established Skin Cancer Transplant Clinic of the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane. Dr. Gabizon is currently an Investigator and Study Co-ordinator of clinical trials with a special interest in psoriasis, having been involved in over 40 dermatological trials in Australia.
He also has years of experience working at the Gold Coast University Hospital in Cardiac Surgery, General Surgery and Intensive Care Medicine.
Having two young girls of his own, he is empathetic towards parental and children’s healthcare interaction.
He has recently returned to Melbourne, his hometown where he plans to settle and care for the Community.
